The Listening Comprehension lessons are designed for students who have learned a little English, can read and write, but cannot speak the language. The students are given a short paragraph, they see it printed and hear it spoken by a trained English speaker. They can then read printed questions and listen to an audio recording of the question. They are expected to answer the questions orally, then read and listen to the answers. They can repeat any part of the lesson as often as they like.
